I'm not sure whether Barbra is doing science a favor or doing herself a favor.
Barba Streisand's 14-year-old Coton du Tulear, Samantha, had a good life. A great life in fact as her owner was not only rich in pocket but rich in love for her. All dogs go to heaven, though, and Samantha was no exception to that. Barbra was distraught, obviously.....so distraught that she payed to make two sets of clones of Samantha by replicating DNA obtained from Samantha's mouth.

Now, I'm sure while Barb did this as a homage to the late Samantha and for the table-side comment about how two of her dogs are clones, I think theres a little more to it. Barbra is also do an exercise in science and observing the clones closely to see what attributes they have of Samantha's and also how they differ from each other. This would be something I'd enjoy watching if she was consistent and thorough with her methods...but she's much too busy being Barbra Streisand so I'll let it slide. Its not too much of a shame so the results of which are as follows:Clones are different from their host and other clones of the host immediately after they are born because they live different lives. The ramifications of how identifical clones will be to others and their host are the same for twins and their parents. Sure you're mannerisms and preferences will be very similar due to the identifical genetic make-up that produces the same slate by which you react to the world around you....but that is as far as the simularities go.
It is clear that the clones won't have the memories of Samantha but could they would be particulary scared of an item or person that Samantha had a bad experience with?Yes actually they would. It has proven that emotional experiences influence the "code" of your DNA strands and change accordingly. This is the main mechanism of evolution. How far this influence extends??? fuck if I know, I'm right here with you in the Twilight Zone. But I do know that Barbra spent alot of extra money on the slim chance that she would gain the mannerisms and emotional make-up of Samantha in the new clones, named Miss Violet and Miss Scarlott(...jeeezzus).
The Labrador is so popular, in 2006 there were approximately 3-5 times more Labs as there were German Shepherds or Golden Retrievers.

I thought Golden Retrievers were Labradors???? or is that a blend of the two?
