I'm drinking coffee. And thinking. It's been a strange morning. I woke from a dream that I was lost in an abandoned jail here in town. I was being chased by a rabbit that wanted to eat me because it was starving. In my head (literally) I was l saying, "Look, I know you're hungry, but I am not food." But the rabbit was totally like, "FOOOOOOOOD."

It was the dream where you wake and you don't know if you died or not. You just assume you're alive because you're actually alive. (Are you? Is this real?) I'm sure you've probably heard.. "If you die in your dream you die in real life." People are so passionate about that theory being true. So, if it's true then I guess I lived.
Although, really, besides dead people, how could anyone ever prove that theory to be true?
So.. I just did a search on YouTube for my name .. "Serena Matthews" because I have this weird addiction of stalking the other Serena Matthews' of the world. I just like to see who else is existing with my same name. To me, before the 2000's it didn't seem like a very common name. But many google searches later, I guess it's safe to assume that it is.

Fun fact... I'm named after Samantha's mischievous cousin, Serena, on Bewitched. To those who aren't familiar with it, Bewitched was an American TV series from the 70s about a mortal man (Darren) who married a wildly attractive and fairly obedient witch named Samantha. Darren constantly demanded that his darling embarrassment not use her witchcraft in their daily lives.
Samantha had an evil cousin named Serena. My parents have always denied that I was named after a naughty witch, but we all know it's true. It's okay, I rather like it. Serena was cooler than Samantha. She never would have hidden her true identity for a man.
Some of the episodes are pretty funny, though.. and actually, for the 70s, I assume were maybe pretty empowering to some women. But, come on.. if you have the powers of a witch and your husband forbids you to use them and you agree with him to make him happy. Well, I'm not saying that that's wrong of him.. but, yeah. Zap the house down. That's a dumb husband. If your wife has magical powers and you choose not to enjoy them in all their glory, that's a shame. And if you refuse to let your witchy wife use her powers to clean the house and make her clean the toilets and do the dishes like an ordinary human mortal.. then, yes, my darling, stupid jackass idiot, you deserve to be zapped. So, anyway.. as usual, I wandered from my point. Back to it. I found this video just now as I was searching my name. Someone over at YouTube sampled a beat from my song, "Staircase." If it was someone from Steemit and I'm just not recognizing your name of "Iron Beatz" ... please let me know. I love when I just wander across stuff like that. Doesn't happen very often. I see the person also has sampled beats from Cat Power and Barbara Streisand. This person has good taste in music. I said hello to them in the comments of the video. Bewitched really kind of always puts my thoughts into a weird place when I try to decide if it's a pro-female show or not. Because many times it just seemed to reinforce the notion that women are the property of men and that all wives should be good wives and do as their husbands say.

So, that's about it. I just wanted to say hi. If anyone is reading down this far, I'd love to ask your opinion of something. Since I've learned how to do a DLive stream now, I am wondering what to stream. Does anyone even want to see that? I am wondering.. should I just talk to you? Sing? Do magic tricks? Read the news to you? Play a game? My possibilities are really pretty endless and so the thoughts are overwhelming me. It makes me nervous that your'e out there maybe watching me. But I'm trying to get over that. I want to be comfortable with being watched. Does that sound creepy? I'm probably creepy.
