HELLO, BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY OF STEEMIT.

I know that I disappeared a very long time and I apologize but because of so many complications in my environment it was impossible for me to focus.

EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON YOU CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Understanding as "Education" to knowledge, I will let you know the situation of Venezuela from the perspective of a young-adult and the problems that exist.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The socio-economic and political situation in Venezuela is not a secret to anyone, and if you do not know it here, I will make a minimal reference that you can expand by searching for articles on the Internet.

First, I will explain the personality of the Venezuelan: the Venezuelan is familiar, they will call you brother or friend of the soul, even if your neighbor will meet every weekend with you, they will help you in whatever you need, look for solutions; Now, because of that familiarity, and that previously few families left the country, every time a Venezuelan emigrates is a very strong emotional shock, both for the migrant and for the one who leaves, the family disintegrates and the one who emigrates must get used to the personality of the people where you will go (which will never be equal to the warmth of your home).

Second, let's talk about the economic situation and the resources: if we convert the value of the food from Bolívares Fuertes (the Venezuelan currency) to dollars it can be said that it is not expensive, eg: a butter costs 0.5 cents maximum. But the problem is in two factors: a) you can not get food, the supermarkets are empty and they resell the food at an incredibly expensive price; and b) the minimum wage, which is paid biweekly or monthly, is 3/4 dollars. WHAT ARE YOU ABLE TO PURCHASE FROM EATING 3/4 MONTHLY DOLLARS? There is a shortage of cash and when the purchases are by debit or credit card triples the original price. It should be noted that the price of the dollar increases every day, sometimes in a huge way. In addition to the lack of medicines and implements for hospitals / clinics, people can die even for the slightest illness.

Third, young people: in this part I will talk about my experience

I am 20 years old and I study Law in Venezuela. I never knew Venezuela without dictatorship, since I was a child I grew up in the environment of economic problems, insecurity, scarcity. I had to mature at a very young age, although I appreciate learning the savings and not wasting food.

We see in movies and we know that the life of a teenager is going out, a free life, days of walking around the city, etc. In Venezuela, in broad daylight, if you are in the wrong place, a misfortune can happen, cities are taken by criminals, miners, you can not leave healthily because a tragedy happens in every corner; then it is a constant concern for our lives.

Education: there is currently a flight of young people who, when they leave secondary school, will study abroad and thus be able to stay in that country (as I emphasized at the beginning, it was rare), but there are cases that are already middle of the university career and each time costs more, either the enrollment of the university as the basic things (print guides, perform work, public transport).

I have read many criticisms regarding Venezuelans abroad, of which I only blame 2 cases:

1) Offenders/delinquent

2) Lazy

From the rest, brothers from other frontiers, open the doors of your country and your heart to ALL foreigners who seek stability, not only to Venezuelans. You have to learn about tolerance, acceptance and love. We will never know the past of each foreigner, since it can be painful. Never judge anyone because of their color, religion, nationality, while doing good the rest will be without problems.

Do I plan to leave the country? Yes, to do a graduate, work and send money to my parents who work hard to give me everything possible. They are the most common purposes: stability, professional growth, helping the family.

Thanks to everyone who has been good to foreigners, they deserve the best in the world.
