A GOOD DAY TO DIE, OR AT LEAST TRY

in life •  6 years ago

This cow may very well be the death of me.

She's been "our cow" for about a year and a half, but that don't exactly mean too much. For a number of complicated reasons, we've rarely seen or interacted with her during that time, which is extremely unfortunate and leads to some potentially life-threatening issues.

These days, if I try to get near her, she usually tries to charge me with her horns and impale me. Since she basically treats me like a rodeo clown, I most often will grab a barrel to use as a barrier, which, while it does protect me from the horns, it sure doesn't stop her from pushing me around.

Anyway, while we are contemplating what to do with her in the long run, we decided to get her bred since we had finally contained her. However, getting her into the trailer was still a daunting task. In this video, we try to get her loaded and I try not to die.

Don't die!
I've never seen such an angry cow, outside of bullfighting rings in Spain.... is there any way to tame her that doesn't threaten life and limb? Maybe her babies will be sweeter...

I know you really don't want to but it is about time to change her name to hamburger!

Looks like you got your hands full with that big girl. Look at all your goats you have too! Our neighbors who live across the street from us just got cows a few months ago. A couple of their cows are friendly and will come up to the fence and let you pet their heads.

You really got your hands full with this girl ....

Fun fact: Cows do not have top front teeth

you must be very careful, I have always had great respect for these animals, they can do you a lot of damage with those horns

@papa-pepper. Please. Where exactly are you? United states? Where. Thanks in anticipation

LOL, Sorry, but I couldn't help to chuckle as the cow was going a few rounds with ya in the stall, lol.
Glad you came out without horns holes!
Wished I lived closer, my kids would love to visit the animals and your little peppers.
Take care.

I am so Grateful @papa-pepper that I get to comment on Your Very FIRST PAL VLOG.......Great to see you here and Sharing the Cow that Treats you Like a Rodeo Clown...............

Hello my friend! :D

I don't know if Ugunda is the right cow for you, she doesn't like you much and isn't safe for your children. :D My handsome husband made a joke saying it looked like "you going to die" but he said it as "U gunda die" to use her name. I told him that wasn't funny, but it kind of was a little. :D He also said "you either need to find time to make her more tame or you should breed and sell her for one that's more docile". :D

She reminds me of our male goat, he was always trying to kill me, and in the end we had to let him go to a new home.

Good luck with here, hopefully motherhood will mellow her out a bit and you won't have to let her go. :D

Rosemary is beautiful. :D

God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
