Essential Oil Blends

in life •  7 years ago

These are some of the oil blends I use at home regularly. The first is one I use for relaxation, often before bedtime.

This blend is used when I feel overwhelmed. I'm an introvert, and when I feel my energetic boundaries have been pushed this blend is useful in repairing them.

Finally, when I'm looking for higher guidance, this blend is great for purpose visions, or seeking truth. I have used this before sleep and usually have some dreams portraying what I feel is the beauty of my life.

I'm a huge fan of essential oils and this is a great brand!

What's interesting is that almost everyonr in the wellness industry is into essential oils. My mind wonders whether being in the industry means you're the type of person who uses oils, or does using oils point you in the direction of the wellness industry? Or maybe I should just not over think it :p

I think being in the wellness industry or seeking natural alternatives points in the direction of essential oils. So whether you are "in the industry" or not, it's a real true part of an alternative for so many things.

A few years back, my first business was a small lavender and herb farm, where we made all natural personal care and home products with all natural ingredients including essential oils. I've done extensive research and learning of essential oils, and even though I've moved on from that business, essential oils are an important aspect that is hard to ignore.

Like anything, without the hype of commercial/big media sources, things like essential oils get overlooked for the majority of the population. Much of the essential oil industry is in a direct sales structured business, relying on direct word of mouth marketing etc.

I compare this situation with Marijuana, the potential is there, but with lack of research and studies it continues to get put by the waste side. (and for many other power/money issues as well)

I'm one that believes, there's no reason why we should be using artificial fragrances with the assortment of natural plant based essential oils, it only makes sense for big profit. Unfortunately, we live in a world of quantity over quality. (not to mention the potential for it being an alternative to so many different dangerous medications)

But with all that being said, it comes down to self-educating. I believe more and more people are realizing they need to form their own opinions. For those of us that have done that, use essential oils, because it only makes sense. I think that in itself is an important massage, "self-educate" (the ones in the wellness industry have done just that, educated themselves)

You're in a good business! Essential oils aren't going anywhere, they will only become more popular, in my opinion. They stand for much more than their potential of what they do, it's another pointer in the direction to take control over ones own life and use the natural resources we have on this planet. *sorry for such a long comment... ;)

I hear you. I could do with this.. love doterra oils. I've been using their Easy Air one to breath through my cold!!!

They are pretty darn useful. Easy air is brilliant for opening up the airways

Indeed, and I have been pretty ill. It beat Vicks Vapour Rub!

I've used lavender essential oils for a while. Now I'm buying a Himalayan salt lamp to see what effects has on my anxiety disorders.
About essential oils I have to say that they are pretty effective. I worked for a company that produced natural remedies and one of its products were essential oils that were selling very good.

Lavender is great for relaxation as well. I'd be interested to hear about your experience with the himalayan salt lamp. Best of luck, I know personally how hard it can be dealing with anxiety.

An hour ago I received the package and plugged it in. I will see how it works in time. From what I read on the internet Himalayan salt has the effect or relaxing the mind.
