When I was in Budapest last year this little comment caught my eye.
It's an interesting message to take on board. Many of us make promises like "I'd be happy if...." or, "when x happens I'll be happy". These promises to our future selves never come true of course.
When we think about time, we really only ever have a chance to change anything in the present moment.
I love the Ben Lee song "Happiness". It has a simple message - "happiness creates happiness" which teaches us that to create happiness in our worlds, we need to choose to be happy!
It is amazing if you can observe your emotions, and then work on the ability to change them by shifting your mindset and focus. These skills go a long way toward setting us free from the mental prisons we create for ourselves.
So true, happiness is absolutely a choice. :)
