WHY THE BIGGEST RETAILER STILL MAKING PLENTY OF DOUGH DESPITE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Apparently You know what company I am talking about.
The purpose of this post is all about us the customers.
They are making money because we go there and buy from them.
They are making money cause they are mostly on dense area every five miles radius.
Commercials play a big role as well.
We tend to accustom with the easiest route to make a purchase.

Usually you walked in to the store and go straight to the electronics area, there is nobody for service. An employer is complaining to me that he is by himself for the morning shift. You better know and find what you want and get out.
Customer service does not make money for big retailers, merchandise does.
When you walk to a store you will leave with something.
When you walk to the store and you grab a shopping cart, instantly you are worth $300+.
Let's say you want a specific toothpaste and like always they are out of it. Deep down inside you will pick the one next to it.
That's how they make the money. This is a mind game. They will never out of all toothpaste. So in general they have a product that you are willing to buy.
Now you know why they carry multiple flavors of the same thing.
I love to go to the gallon of milk section.
Funny three of four of the same milk, betcha the same cow, but different container at different price point.
Whoa they are good. Hey I love choices.
Traffic is mingling behind your head, you are busy. You want to get out fast.
On your way out, you find 2 cashiers upfront. Thanks heaven they have self cashing registers.

Now one thing to keep in mind, you have a choice. Thank to online shopping and if you can wait.
You can order through that channel.
I have in mind the biggest online company in the US.
I enjoy also the small grocery store. I do have a few in my area and I take into account shopping from them.
One important thing. You shop wherever you feel like it.
But don't complain about their bad customer service. Take it as it is. You decide to go there in the first place, maybe that could be the only choice you have for one stop shopping.
I still shop there, but I do my homework before leaving home.
I think it is getting fix and surely we all can be sure bad customer service will be a thing of the pass if we all act accordingly.
