Patterns in life I try to guess,
Never would I have found those of one kind,
But now as I begin to reminesce my youth,
Synchronicity comes to mind.
"Coincident occurence of acausal events"
so luminescent its presence had been,
its definition, had I known it then,
wouldn't be blurred by the monotonicity of routine.
Its one thing to be brought together,
by the regularity of a roster,
But emergent was a sublime design,
as new feelings began to foster.
I then had experiences,
that lead to a kindred spirit,
Wouldn't have remembered them all,
if synchronicity did not give them merit.
For love, laughter, communism, caring,
friendship and camaraderie,
were manifestations of this magic of life,
that filled adolescence with reverie.
