Iam Ravi K . I did a survey on "The changing Lifestyle" . Here is the brief report of the survey :-
In the last few decades, several man-made unsustainable activities and interventions have accelerated the problems related to shelter, environment, food, health, society, culture and working pattern. These problem-areas are also associated, linked and guided mainly with lifestyles and livelihoods. Appropriate lifestyles and livelihoods can help us to move towards a more healthy, livable and sustainable environment at the household, community and society level. Hence the sub theme of lifestyle and livelihood assumes significance.
The idea of this sub theme is to promote the concept of conscious and cautious involvement of science, technology and innovation to evolve sustainable lifestyles& livelihoods. The sub theme looks at several concepts related to the effect of occupational, cultural and environmental changes and their relations with lifestyles and livelihoods. This subtheme shall in addition to its focus on the negative impacts also look at the positive impacts on lifestyle and livelihood and identify these as opportunities for a sustainable future.
Lifestyles refer to the way we live our lives, what we do, with whom, where, how and what we used to do earlier. Lifestyles define our identity. We express our social position, political preferences and psychological aspirations to others through our lifestyles.
The idea of this sub theme is to promote the concept of conscious and cautious involvement of science, technology and innovation to evolve a sustainable lifestyle & livelihood. The sub theme looks at several concepts related to the effect of:-
(1) Occupational changes,
(2) Cultural changes and
(3) Environmental changes and its relation with lifestyle and livelihood.
The subtheme not only tries to focus on the negative impacts but also on positive impacts on lifestyle and livelihood and identifying them as opportunities to carry forward for developing a sustainable future. The concept of Sustainable development consists of 3 main pillars which are

Result :-
during the course of our survey among different cross sections of the society, we have come across many advantages and disadvantages of the changed lifestyle in the society. the disadvantages were more than advantages due to changing lifestyle in the society. the people were slowly losing their social interaction due to their changing life style and also due to their changed work culture. this is pulling the society into an insecure situation and mental stress and tension has also noticed in increased level in the society. it has noticed that many of the persons were not seeing or contacting their neighbours even once in a week. Some of them were not aware of the details of their neighbourhood. it is felt during the survey THAT IF this situation continues, the society may goes to a serious disastrous situation.
the changed FOOD HABBITS OF THE SOCIETY HAS ALSO MADE AN ADVERSE IMPACT IN THE SOCIETY. DUE TO THEIR NATURE OF WORK AND BUSY LIFE, MANY OF THEM PREFER TO TAKE OUTSIDE FOODS VERY FREQUENTLY. SINCE MOST OF THESE FOOD ITEMS ARE Spicy THAN OUR HOME MADE FOODS. THESE FOOD ITEMS ARE BEING PREPARED EYEING ON THE TASTE OF THE CUSTOMERS AND LESS CONCERN ABOUT THEIR HEALTH, RESULTING VARIOUS HIGEINIC RELATED AND Other HEALTH PROBLEMS AMONG THESE SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY.
