I did not consider myself a "people person" in my high school and college years. I know it sounds calloused but I didn't understand the value of people and relationships, how they fit into the pursuit of my goals. As a result, I did put much value on them. That changed about a year after I started work as an engineer. I realized that developing friendships and helping people to gather and enjoy life together was quite valuable. I formed friendships with the people I worked with in the office.

In recent years I began connecting with people with unique interests, skills and talents. I tend to gravitate toward those types of people. All people are valuable and many are interesting, but the ones who step out of the normal routine and pursue something different hold a special place in the world and in my heart.
The photo above was of the street dance team, we were doing a photo and video shoot at Surfside beach.
I have been doing my video blog for many years and I am now narrowing my focus on performers and entrepreneurs. I find that they are the ones who benefit the most from being promoted through my videos, and they appreciate it the most. Plus, I just love getting to know them and spend a little time capturing what they do with their talents.
The photo above is Sara, John and I just after my interview with John at a festival in Tomball. Sara is an accessories designer and John is the lead singer of "Johnny and the Spinsations."
In a few days I will be interviewing and capturing the performance of a singer/songwriter. I met her at the Bri Bagwell concert. I am looking forward to getting to know yet another interesting and talented person, and capturing a bit of her performance to share with others.
