Why Do You Set Limitations on Your Possibilities?

In every aspect of your life, we set limits on our opportunities. Why do you do this? Why do you limit your possibilities?
There are two major reasons for setting limits. The first is the fear of being overwhelmed. The second is a fear of not being successful. If you look closely at all your habits and decisions, you will see that they all have limitations placed upon them by your mind.

Fears are the most powerful of all emotions. They are paralyzing the ability to think and act. They prevent you from taking risks and growing as an individual. In fact, most fears and paralyzes are actually just mental blockages. Why do you limit your possibilities? The answer is simple. You know what works for others but not for you. The reason you limit your possibilities is that you are using limited knowledge to guide your actions and behaviors.

The answer to your question, "How do you set limits on your possibilities?" lies in the fact that you are limiting yourself by not learning from your past experiences. It takes a very long time to experience the same things twice, and the chances are that if you have already had the same experience, you will not need to experience the second time at all. Just like when you read a book you are not going to read the same book twice.

Your mind has programmed your experience of reality to be exactly like the world of yesterday. This means that the answers you get to problems are the same as the answers you got in the past. Your mind automatically creates these patterns so that you can live your life as if they were the only answers available to you. When you realize this fact, it becomes easy to set limits on your possibilities.

One of the most effective ways to set limits on your possibilities is to write them down. When you write them down, you are making a conscious decision that you are not going to use a pattern that will continue to limit you. The choice to do this gives you the opportunity to look at the patterns that have been laid out for you in the past. and choose ones that will work better for you.

How do you set limits on your possibilities? Use your mind by looking inside yourself for the answers to the questions you need to answer and then write those questions down. For example, when you ask yourself, "Why do you set limits on your possibilities?" answer with your mind's answer and write them down.

One way that you might do this is by making a list of your limits. This list might include everything from where you want to go and who you want to marry to whether or not you want to be an alcoholic. You can even write down your desires, like how you want to have a pet or travel.

The next thing you do is to start to evaluate all of your limitations. for each of them. Try to see which one is the most important to you and start to replace the thought that comes to your mind whenever you think about it.
Another way that you can put limits on your possibilities is to replace each of your limits with a more specific one. For example, when you write the question, "why do you set limits on your possibilities?" replace your limitation with the limitation, "you cannot have a pet", or "you cannot drink alcohol".

It is also possible that you can change the physical limits. For instance, when you write the question, "why do you set limits on your possibilities?" replace that with, "do not have an emotional attachment to anything except yourself." The physical limit could be, "you cannot buy or eat chocolate", "do not take vacations", or "don't eat or drink anything that is not healthy".
