Family is family mate! Thick or thin. Sorry to hear your pops was a hard ass...Great post, just found your page.

And with out a doubt exercising is the best! I just started working out again and the positive motivation it gives me is through the roof.

Yup! It does. That's something lacking in my life right now :)

Once you start I promise you will love it...The hardest part is actually getting to the gym. The working out part is easy.

It's refreshing to hear a male talk on camera about his own experiences with depression, i agree that childhood relationships can influence depressive tendencies. Thanks for posting. Upvoted and followed

I do a lot of that, and thanks :)

I've been depressed lately on some deep levels mostly because of finances given the amount of money i sank into ethereum when it was at $360 and now its at $244 meaning I'm looking at losses of upwards of $11,000! This is really bad for me! I will never invest on hype again

good to share your story which is first part of healing...
a problem shared is half solved...

steemit is best since you can start even with zero and build yourself up through hard work blogging what you love and building followers.
Am into alternative remedies...feel free to update me more on your status so i can recommend some home remedies to help you...
i have few posts which may bring the smile to your face....
best wishes

Ethereum is a long hold. Don't get too down at making a loss right now. Take bitcoin for example. Even if you invested at the hype at it's peak in 2013 when it was at $1000 a coin, then shortly afterwards it went to $150, you could have sold out, or if you had held you'd be 2 and a half times your money now.

I have a few financier type friends that say eth is a super good investment for the long term :)

awesome post keep it up

thank you :)

Still loving these posts Raymon. I feel like sharing my own stories of mental illness. Where else but Steemit to build a little support community for sufferers. Power in numbers :)

I'd love to see them! Make sure you tag me in them. I love to see stuff that I've inspired :)

I wrote a lot on depression in my posts, from personal experiences and from my background in psychology/neuroscience.

Nice!
