I think the goal of Steemit isn't about making money but an opportunity to be creative and relieving your passion. Which is why many who sign up with Steemit only for the purpose of the former(making money) no matter how creative or skillful they're at writing, end up feeling adequate or frustrated when the money isn't coming.

On the other hand, those who find the platform very easy to use in expressing their passion(the later), often feel satisfied with just being able to provide content for a worldwide audience. And, the truth is that, no matter how long it takes for them to start getting the rewards coming in, they never get tired because writing is what ignite their passion.

Friends, money or reward flows in the direction your of passion and not the other way round.
