Some signs that your Startup may be on the road to failure

In all this time I have noticed that there are several signs that your Startup may be on the way to failure. While it is true that everything related to entrepreneurship is "fail, adapt and improve" or "fail to learn", there are certain "errors" or symptoms that are unrecoverable.

I leave some that I think are the most serious and if you're still on time you can mitigate, but if you neglect you can end up with your Startup:

Your sales cycles are getting longer:

Whether it is a product or service that you offer, if each time your sales cycles become longer and your consumers no longer show the same interest, you must study the market well again, see why your product does not generate the same impact and you should look for a better strategy and sales channels, to avoid that in a short time your brand is affected by this and you do not have the famous and appreciated "cash flow".

You do not have time to devote to your main product:

When in your Startup your main product and own development does not receive the correct attention for being developed for third parties or providing services that are temporary only for the generation of cash flow, it may end up not developing in the end and even this means the end of your Startup. The recommendation is to look for investors or accelerators to have the capital you need and develop your product, not using your resources to generate capital to maintain those same resources without being able to dedicate it to the core of your Startup.

You have no real monetization plans:

At the beginning you will be changing business plans every so often because the ideal is to iterate and study the market until you get the one that really matches what you offer and your Startup must adapt to that market. But you should always have a long-term monetization plan and a north to follow, if you lose this you will probably lose your Startup course in no time.

Having to lower prices to compete:

When your only way to be competitive in the market is to have prices much lower than your competition, well ... I do not think it will be long for you to realize that everything is over. Try to study what your competition does and offer a better product for the same price, offer some extras or better user experience when buying.

Do not feel passion for what you do:

This I think would be the key point of all Startup, in the end what keeps these projects alive is the passion of the founders and the team that works, the rest are relatively recoverable, but not wanting to give 100% for your project , it is sure that it will lead to failure.
