Daww! Isn't she just so cute! I love my fur babies! After a few minutes of staring at me while I'm trying to write some stuff on my computer, she finds a comfy spot and curls up for a nap of her own. Right on my feet... I guess moms lap is the most comfortable?
The spare time I have gives me the opportunity to play around with my hair. Deep conditioning treatments and different ways of doing my specific curly girl routine, and it really helps me figure out how my hair works and what it does or doesn't like. I've had curly hair since birth but I've just now started seeing how beautiful it really can be. So far it's working and I've been heat free for over 4 months! Considering I was straightening my hair three times a week before going curly girl, that's a really long time!
Even though I've given up hope of having the perfect half straight, half curly hair that all models and celebrities have, I've embraced my natural hair and I can tell that it loves it! Plus it looks like curly hair is becoming more accepted in the fashion world!
After everyone is in bed, I usually blast some music (not literally blast, but you know), continue working on writing projects and do some relaxing in the later hours of the night. I hate my insomnia but it seems like my soul just needs that alone time to meditate and concentrate on myself. Smoking also helps me relax and also helps with the chronic pain I have now... So along with that, comes a midnight (or 3 AM) snack!
Anyone else eat their Oreos like this? No... just me? Well my boys always said it was weird, but it's like cereal made from cookies! And I'm not really a big milk drinker, so this helps me get the milk that I need to drink. And when there isn't much for snacks in the house, and it's the middle of the night... You pretty much find what you can! Haha!
