I first bought at this little shop here in Vancouver, though recently ordered from somewhere online in Canada that had way better pricing.
I haven’t been using it too long or done that much research to say much.
Personally, I wouldn’t want to use it unless the specific purpose was there. Though at this time while dealing with elevated tension levels, it’s been serving well as a sort of training wheels in conditioning myself to relax more.
I would advise to be conscious about dosage and frequency of use, however. I do have a friend that used very frequently and advises it may be best not to use as both he and others he’s known have become addicted and struggled unpleasantly to get off. He advised stay as low under 10g/day as possible, as dependency potentials spike above that. (Personally, I’m limiting myself to a single 5g dose per day, and not using daily, during this period where it’s helpful.)

I’ve also been recommended to take GABA, magnesium, and mineral supplements afterwards to help destabilize body chemistry.
This came from a trust source who really knows his shit, so I’d take it quite seriously to make sure these are added into the mix after.
