I started working and finding jobs online while I was still studying. It was during the time I would research on different topics that I realized how easy the internet has made it for us to find anything and everything. I went through multiple platforms and it truly inspired me to see how people are taking advantage of different platforms and utilizing their time the right way. Ever since then, I keep looking for interesting and approachable ideas not just to make money but also to explore my abilities. It is a fun process and if any of you is even mildly interested in working at home, then please go ahead! Plan and start. You don’t necessarily have to leave your job, you can just utilize your time at home in the most effective way, that suits you the best.

Nowadays the internet represents a good tool to work from home and as well commented it does not stop being a job but, if it gives you more comfort

smart!

This represents me quite well. I am my "own boss," but of course I always have a client that needs something from me, so we are not really our own boss if someone is paying for our services!

However, just a couple things to add - Our mentality and mind set is crucial if we work for ourselves. We need to have a lot of drive, determination, stamina, and the ability to not become afraid if our business is slow for a minute. This is a very, very challenging thing for many people. Keeping expenses as low as possible can help mitigate fear during slow times, but we still need to have a great deal of faith. And we need to enjoy the slow times when they happen, because they will.

Equally, sometimes I am VERY busy! And I cannot just not get the work done on time because I am busy. The client needs the work done!! So we don't really set our own hours - we manage them and do the work when we want, but the amount of work is very variable.

In the end, self-employment is still work, and it is still hard. And if you are self-employed, you do a lot of other tasks that you wouldn't need to do if you had a regular job.

All of that said, I LOVE working for myself from home. You can read about what I do in my intro post (posted yesterday) if you are curious. I wouldn't work any other way, but it is important that people also know the downsides.

Inspiring post. You are so right. In this new age there are so many amazing opportunities before us. Thanks a lot.
