I love sharpeis

The sharpeis are a very nice dog breed. When they are small they are mega wrinkles, but when they grow they lose their wrinkles.

Contrary to what people think this breed is very old. From Asia they are dogs that were on the verge of extinction. And sadly in antiquity they were used as fighting dogs because of the characteristic eslasticity of their skin and their shark jaw.

The coat of the original race is of a single tone, that is to say that they do not tend to have spots or several colors on their skin. These colors are black, chocolate, bluish gray, lilac, isabella and brown.

His character is very funny, do not act like the typical dog, or so it seemed to me, when compared his character with other dogs. For some things they are more silly and for other more savvy.

They need a lot of care from the veterinarian, when they are small many often have entropion, that is to say that having wrinkled skin the eyelash they give in the eye and are in danger of suffering blindness if it is not treated. (By the way, beware of the veterinarian who cheated on me, not all veterinarians are like that, but ask for second opinions if you see that yours does not stop taking things so that you continually loose pasta, they know how much you want to your pet and some take advantage.)

Honestly if you are thinking of adopting one of these friends I recommend it, it is a good experience and they are very endearing.

A few years ago one of these great Duna friends left my life. And every time I see a sharpei I can not help but feel nostalgic and miss her a lot.

A couple presidential dogs were Golden Retrievers: "Liberty," the presidential dog of Gerald Ford, and "Victory," Ronald Reagan’s dog.

It's so sad to loose a friend, they're so special... I have a shar-pei and I can't imagine the day that she will leave our lives.
