Harvest's What You Sow

When the opportunity was opened to give workshops in the communities in Oaxaca, I knew that something beautiful was waiting for me, but I didn't know exactly what it was about until I experienced it. Coming out of my bubble and opening myself up to new ways of feeling life made me value it even more, everyday living with new people who shared their adventures with me, are now life lessons that are engraved in my heart.

I didn't realize the power to share a value such as equality or solidarity or the fragile line that exists in the attitude of a human being when acting and reacting. On one occasion some children competed to say which was the best drawing, so I called their attention, I made them all stop drawing to hear this which would be of great importance for their whole life, I said to them:"art is the only expression of everyone, there is no better or worse at the time of creating, that's why it doesn't make sense to discuss who is the best drawing". After hearing this, they all redrawn with free smiles. To the next class the children who were arguing about being the best now reminded me that there was no one better than the other, that they were all the same. From one day to the next she had changed the direction of her lifelong decisions, the way she lived and created by being equal. How wonderful!

Being a teacher is great and it is an honor. The basis of a society resides in the education of the society, so the teachers can be very powerful. I have well remembered the names of those who have changed my life, who gave me an opportunity to express myself and to be myself, who helped me to discover who I am and I thank them with all my heart.

Thanks to the opportunity to give the workshops a lecture. I was able to recognize with my own senses the great value of sharing the lessons of life with certainty.

Thanks!
