Instill The Love Of Reading @senseicat

Each year, my son's school dedicates one week to celebrate love of reading. I think that it is a wonderful way to inspire children to read and this year, he and his friend, will be re-enacting a favorite children's book for 2nd graders.

I also like reading very much. I think, this hoiday is a good way to inspire children to read

Reading is an awesome thing for kids. I can remember when I discovered reading for myself, and from that time forward, I was hooked! Even now, I don't get to read as much as I used to, but I've begun to make an effort to spend a little time trying to do just that. As adults, sometimes, if you choose the correct book, it can help with the stress of the day to lose yourself for 30 minutes or so. It's important to never lose the love of reading. Encourage someone today to pick up a book today and READ! :)

I agree that reading is a gift to our children and it is something that they can enjoy throughout their entire lifetime. As adults, we need to spend some time unwinding and getting lost in a book is an excellent method.

I have a son too. Bit we prepare primary school for next year. Reading book is my job at home. But this may be change when he join school.

Yes, it Is great to introduce reading at an early age. I remember reading to my son when he was an infant and it is excellent bonding time together. When he grew older, I would still read out loud to him for fun to help him relax.

My daughter is in the 3rd grade. On average, they organize finishing two books per semester and group them in groups of 10, then take turns to host the reading activities of the day.

This is such an excellent idea and it gives each child responsibility to contribute in their own unique way.

In my city too and they call it reading marathon, it is wonderful

An excellent suggestion and it would be great to incorporate this into our reading week event. Thank you for sharing and this is one of the reasons I love Steemit. I love sharing interests and ideas so easily with our international community.
