Today, Monday becomes my busy day! Since, I am working here in Cebu and wasn't able to go home before the lockdown, I am still working during community quarantine.
Because, I am from Leyte and don't have place to stay here, I am one of those who are blessed to be part of the in-house staff. Girls have separate house from the boys. Luckily, we are only few girls and lucky to have own room separate from the other staff.
Because, I am one of the in-house staff I am not exempted not to work while we are in a community quarantine. Our office is just a few steps from our house. But, those who are living in Cebu and not part of the in-house staff, they are allowed not to report to work to avoid from covid-19.
So, I have no choice but to work. To work multitasking as today I become sales person, purchaser, credits & collections, secretary, etc. Telephone on the right ear, earphone on the left ear, some calls on hold, eyes on the monitor, fingers busy on the keyboard, entertain customers, issue sales invoices, issue collection receipts, entertain the bosses, entertain the messengers, etc.
I feel like a superwoman today. A superwoman that also feel tired and exhausted. I may not be infected of covid-19. But I will be infected of stress and fatigue.
Sometimes it's good to be tired, I am sure you went above and beyond today!
