I am looking into the eyes of a stranger,

a sound of surprise leaves my mouth. He wears everyday clothes and speaks Spanish.

I tell him that I am sleeping here since 4 days and that a woman brought me coffee and a croissant. I can see that he knows about it as he smiles at me.

I explain him in broken Spanish that I always clean up and leave quickly. It's not him who has a problem with me sleeping there but the neighbours from the other house. Then he hands me a large praline box.

He asks me if I want water and I say yes. He opens the office and I realize that he is the owner of the office. I tell him that I sometimes have depression and cannot fall asleep and then have problems waking up for a job which then always creates problems. He understands. Then I ask him if he has a little job for me. 1 or 2 hours a day. He wants to know what I was working in the past and I explain him that I was a waiter, a mechanic, a salesman and so on.

I ask him if I can return after the New Year and he is happy about it. Maybe he will have a small job for me I think.
