wife life series: me, the portrait of my hubby and the bathtub

in life •  6 years ago

You have to know that me and my hubby, since we started to live together in our lab-home, wanted a bathtub. Not an expensive bathtub, but just a simple bathtub to stay in relax and "clean" ourselves at the same time. Maybe you hink it's trange, but when I think about a bathtub I think about a spa. Warm water where I can stay in relax, the smell of different soaps, candles, silence and, why not, a good book to read. ^_^

A bathtub was our dream and my hubby studied a nice project to decor all around it. An artistic work of mosaic!

After 4 year, now we have our wonderful (and comfortable) bathtub!

A couple of week ago we asked to the pumber that I know since a was a little girl to install a bathroom at home. He lives close to us, so he could do it very soon. We needed just to have the bathroom and to install it, because my hubby had a beautiful mosaic project instead of the "simple" tiles.

Just a couple of days and our plumbed installed the bathtub:

Great! Just after 8 hours I took a wonderful relaxing bath and it was fantastic!

Now, I want to make an appeal to my hubby @paolobeneforti :

dear, we have a nice bathtub now and I agreed with you to work on the mosaic to decor all around it, but when you think to start the work???

Yes, I know, an artist needs to have the right inspiration to start an artwork, but I really need to see everything ok in my bathroom ^_^

I started to work on the portrait of Paolo the same day that the bathtub was installed and it's almost finished (today I added some wrinkles on the face), but there's not one piece of mosaic on my bathroom:

I think I'll add new wrinkle on the portrait before the mosaic on the bathroom will be finished ^_^

Good night to everyone and see ya tomorrow!

How many Italian artists does it take to change a light bulb?

Doesn't matter, can't be done, they're all stuck in the conceptual phase making sketches.

Sorry about that, couldn't resist. Your bathtub made me think of it.

you have a mirror on the bathtub! nice!! ;)
