You can clearly see for yourself that 16 years ago, scientists had been talking about the discovery of a human antibody that attacks sperm. Mitch Hein, the president of Epicyte at the time goes on to speak about about using GM corn plants to grow and carry the gene that creates the antibodies.

Why corn specifically? It never says why corn, but they do say plants are easier to manipulate because plant cells are more similar to animal than bacteria. Perhaps, and I am only speculating, perhaps that is related to the fact that bacterial cells are lacking mitochondria, chloroplasts or a nucleus.

Fast forward 16 years, and if you look at your ingredient list on many popular and packaged foods...guess what's inside? Our old buddy, Maize! From corn starch, to high fructose corn syrup, corn is ubiquitous in american foods.

Is there a connection? I don't know, but from where I am sitting, I wouldn't be willing to bet against it.
