Atlanta Mobb ride
A extremely large group of motorcycles swarming through the city to bring awareness to car commuters (cages) to share the road. Some would argue that large rides such as these have more of a negative affect on the riding community because of the traffic jams it tend to create. Either way this doesn't stop hundreds of bikers from joining in.

The ride usually take place multiple times over the course of the year. Each ride becomes theme driven depending on the time frame of its occurrence.

Although participation is open to the public, the starting location is sent out within 24 hours of it start time.
This strategic method helps ensure premature shutdown from law enforcement. Therefore social media platforms such as Facebook, instagram, and twitter are used to blast out information to the masses on location and time.

Many participants uses Facebook to network and meet other local riders in their area at gas stations
Here they will pass time until the location has been revealed, then will ride as small groups to the starting point.

At the very first mobb ride, over 500 motorcycles participated. When it's that many bikes traveling as a unit, every intersection begins to get blocked off as hundreds of bike pass through.

This create traffic jams and sometimes road rage from other commuters in cars. All it takes is for one driver to get impatient and quickly the situation can escalate.

Many times the rides are successful with no break downs, wrecks or injuries which help minimize harassment from local authorities.
The ride duration is contingent on the participant turnout as well impatient drivers or law enforcement. After riding through downtown and shutting down the highway for stunts, the group begins to dismantle into smaller groups and riders go about their day. Many riders go get food and talk about their experiences as well as take/ share pictures.
