So my name is Mark I am the oldest of 5 boys and I have 2 boys with my wife. With what has been in the news lately I am wanting your stories on this men/women thing.
A bit about me as the oldest I was a mama's boy I learned to respect women at a very early age but it was not for many year later did I realize how right my mother was. Having live a life of hard work and hard play I achieved my dreams at the age of 33 and that was after to back surgeries. Now that old age has set in I didn't see any girls grow up other than my wife since she was 16.
It is so apparent to me that women are the stronger of the sexes. For some reason they know they can make it regardless.
The question is does this feeling come from religion, the knowledge that there are more fish in the sea, I am grasping at straws but here is a big thank you to all of you women young and old out there that have had to put up with the misdeeds of boys/men ogling cat calling or simply making you feel uncomfortable.
The reason I went here is that I went to the doctor and asked the nurses about this and without hesitation they both said simultaneously that men were pigs. However when asked further as to how I was told that it was mainly when there were 2 or more men, which I know that situation. Someone will make a cat call or talk rude or just be a plain ass but if you met them by their self they would not say a word.
I would like to hear your experiences of discomfort between the sexes. Mainly how stupid are men?

This is really a broad subject. but if you are interested in hearing such things you can come to discord to teamgirlpowa and listen in to our gender studies podcast.
As for me, i think all men are individuals caught up in a globalized culture of male superiority and glorifying traits of the "macho" and/or mostly physical man. Obviously many men are extremely intelligent abotu a broad variety of things. However, being a woman isnt usually one of them. It all depends on how willling the man is to challenge his own ego and perception of his social training.
Luckily, here on steemit there are a lot of really sensitive and intellectual guys. There is still rudeness, condescension, inchat cat calling, etc. But its really not the status quo here. ALTHOUGH there are mostly male-identified witnessess and male identified persons on the developer/founder team. Of what i know there is one female whale but there are a lot of female dolphins although not a lot of staunch feminists.
But I thank you for asking and if you are serious about feminism being your main theme id love to invite you to the girlpowa discord. I do hopw you are interested in doing some research and writing more posts about how you experience feminism and/or cat-calling.

Well I will definitely find your girlpowa discord after what the nurse's told me and the way I was raised and a lifelong friend of mine I don't think we even had girl friends until jr. year of high school and we both married them so sorry to say he has past 3 years ago. So I try to help his wife if she needs it which she never does, Female pride? I would take the help of mowing a yard from someone!! lol
