Don´t focus how much you eat. Focus  w h a t  you eat!


My lovely followers have requested a food post for the longest! Ever since I started the #BecomeHealthy challenge, you guys were asking about food related posts continuously. While traveling and working so much, keeping up the healthy game was definitely a challenge. I often went out to get food or ordered a pizza to be able to get as much work done as possible. I actually felt a huge difference between working out and eating healthy snacks or working out and eating deliciously unhealthy. 

When it comes to food, I strive for a good taste. The food needs to look and taste good, otherwise I won´t even touch it. Switching up from fantastic warm chocolate croissants in the morning to quinoa cereals with a neutral taste is tough but that´s fine because my mind tells me how good this nutrition is and what it does to my body! 

Before team @appics and I went to London for some crypto related events, my friend @lisadang referred a new restaurant to me where I have never been before! After a sweaty workout I was looking for something healthy but not too heavy for my stomach. She obviously found the best place to eat! 


Hanging Out Café

Germany is still developing the healthy scene which means we do not have a lot of wholesome spots. The Hanging Out Café is located very central near the shopping area in Hamburg just besides several universities. 

When I first came into the store, my interior heart was melting. I am a huge fan of architecture and this place is well designed with a bunch of shimmering lights hanging from the top which gave us a nice atmosphere to talk and work.

The Menu

The menu was very clear and easy to understand. Even though I have never eaten a fruit bowl before, I was able to understand every detail on the board. 


The Chia Berry Bowl

I have never eaten a fruit bowl, as I mentioned earlier, and I have never eaten a chia pudding either. @lisadang was so hyped about the chia pudding taste which made it easy for me to choose what kind of bowl I want to try. The bowl consisted of a chia pudding, fruit cream on top of it and 3 different toppings such as coconut, fruits and different sorts of nuts. I went for the coconut, raspberries and crunchy almonds. 

The consistency was just p e r f e c t ! A cold, creamy, delicious and healthy chia pudding served with a sour/sweet cream of raspberries & strawberries finished with crunchy almonds, coconut chips and fresh, sweet raspberries! It took me less than 10 minutes to finish the whole bowl. Even after rushing through this meal, I still did not feel bloated or filled at all. 


The Smoothie

When you know me, then you probably know that I can not eat anything without having a drink. Non alcoholic but still delicious and fresh! 

When I chose the berry bowl I also wanted a healthy drink without any added sugar or artificial ingredients. I decided to take the berry smoothie which tasted like a paradise. I am sure you guys have probably tasted a good smoothie before so you know why I love it so much.

We had a very successful and fun day! The location gave us enough space for our laptops and a nice atmosphere to stay focused.

People strive to eat everyday but we should focus on what we eat instead of how much we eat!

Yeah thats very healthy post 😉 Yeah same is to me if food lools good and taste good then I'll have a look at this otherwise not. Yeah many good cafes are there with good foods but try is must even once to check the quality of the food. If you eat unhealthy food then you cannot exercise properly. Thanks for sharing @soldier

Ah. I'm about eating to survive at the moment. I don't have the luxury to be as precise as this.

You dont need to be rich to eat good food. It is actually more expensive than fast food for example but health is the most important thing that should be your priority 🙌🏼

Oh it is... but having a home is priority.

Chia berry bowl is totally mouth watering ,wish i were there i wud have used bitcoin to have all those varieties on the board 😋

That bowl's presentation is superb! I loved your description of the place, surely a comfortable place to recover after a hard session of workout.

I will love to read about what combinations of meal do you use to have the right amount of protein in your diet.

I'm cutting back on my sugar intake however the cravings get worse the longer I stay away. Then I saw the deserts and the smoothies...😅

Nowadays it is becoming very difficult to maintain your healthy due to these junk foods. I like your this series on food and health and i requests you to post something about muscles gaining. Thanks for sharing. Good luck.
