Melanotan was first discovered at the Health Sciences Center of the University of Arizona, USA by a researcher around the dermatologist Dr. Norman Levine at the end of the 80´s. While searching for a way to promote the tanning of the skin for therapeutic purposes by accelerated production of melanin, they encountered the previously unknown active ingredient. As a natural hormone, Melanotan controls the production of melanin, the brown to black pigment, which determines the color of the skin and leads to browning of the skin under ultraviolette rays.

Martina Big was born in May 1988 in Trier, Germany. She grew up as a normal girl and also her look was typical german. 

She had a few Idols such as Pamela Anderson when she was younger. The former stewardess turned slowly into the woman with Europe´s biggest breast. Her size is 32S by now which I cant even imagine how big it will look in real life. 

But this wasn´t enough for the young blonde girl. She decided to go all out and wanted to turn into a black woman. I saw an interview where she told about her beginning becoming a dark skinned lady. She had problems getting tanned in the past because of her light skin color which is quite normal, so she asked her doctor if he knew a way to become darker and he knew. Melanotan injections. Melanotan is a full length, straight peptide while melanotan 2 is a circular and shortened version of the afamelanotide peptide. There are more surprising side effects such as libido enhancement and spontaneous erections are being reported by users of MT2 rather than MT1. The amino acid sequence is shorter in MT2 so there are more MT2 peptide chains available as compared to MT. There is much density of peptide chains within a given set weight. The receptor binding affinity of MT2 is not so effective but due to more density of peptide chains there is less requirement of melanotan 2 to achieve same result. This makes MT2 a much cheaper proposition.
