You must upload a blogpost with photos and or video, you must write about your experience on steemit, with bitcoin etc. and in exchange you get reward x. No this blogpost is no competition but about the concept. Competition can be good for entertainment, skills and on a social media platform for exposure and socialization.
Ofcourse everybody likes free stuff, but competitions are often not really free. If you play lotto you must pay a fee. If you take part in a race you must exert yourself to win and then get the medal or other rewards, if you blogpost to win a competition you must produce something that is the result of energy, time and research.
