The next time you don’t feel like hitting the gym, check out these 10 unexpected benefits of exercise for motivation:
#1: Exercise Helps You Lose Weight
According to various research over the years, inactivity has been found to be one of the major factors contributing to weight gain and obesity. Getting regular session of exercise either in the gym or at home is a good way to lose excess body fat, especially when combined with the right type of nutrition. So if you have been looking for an active way to shed some pounds, you need to consider getting yourself down to the gym.
#2: It Reduces the Risk of Chronic Diseases
Daily exercise can help you reduce the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes, strokes and many cardiovascular diseases to up to 30% by improving your blood flow, strengthens your heart muscles, and also causes a healthy balance between bad cholesterol and good cholesterol level. Save yourself the time and money spent on hospital bills by hitting the gym for a few minutes daily.
#3: It Helps You Build Lean Muscles and Develop Stronger Bones
When combined with protein-rich diets, exercise helps in building lean muscles and at the same time, helps you develop stronger bones. High-impact exercise prompts your bones to add mass and also prevents the loss of mass due to age.
#4: It Improves Blood Pressure
You can actually get your risk of high blood pressure reduced to up to 40% by getting a few minutes of physical activity on a daily basis.
#5: It Boosts the Immune System
Regular exercise keeps you fit and also increases the circulation of cells that help you fight off bacteria and viruses. This means you can actually keep colds and the flu at nay by staying active.
#6: It Reduces the Risk of Breast Cancer
Research has made it known that the risk of breast cancer is being reduced considerably to about 20-30% reduction in women who exercise regularly compared to the ones that don’t exercise. Even though the reason for this is not clearly stated, scientist believed it might be due to the significant reduction in the level of estrogen as a result of regular exercise.
#7: More Energy
Physical activity actually does not only help you lose weight, but it’s also a great and smart way of boosting your energy levels. If you need more energy to perform your day-to-day activities, such as carrying those loaded grocery bags or playing soccer with your kids around the compound, then engage yourself more in exercise. This provides your muscles with increased strength and endurance to actively get involved in your activities.
#8: It Helps You Get Better Sleep
Regular exercise helps you fall asleep faster and as well helps you get more quality sleep. However, ensure your workout is not scheduled too close to your bedtime. This might rather rev up your energy when you are supposed to be winding down for sleep.
#9: It Improves Skin Health
By increasing collagen levels, exercise gives you a younger clear skin. It boosts collagen levels which thus reduces the appearance of wrinkles and other skin problems like acne.
#10: Exercise Boosts Mental Health
Staying active has a great chance of helping you improve your memory and also lower the risk of getting any age-related dementia. Exercise is also a great tool for helping you think clearly by making sure your mind is free every time.
Final Note:
Exercise offers incredible benefits that can transform everything about your health from inside out and make you enjoy the better part of life. So next time you think of exercise, you should think more than just weight loss or building muscles.
The key to exercising is finding something you love! My love for exercising when I discovered my passion for hand balancing! Now I work out not because I have to but because I want to and it's fun to me! I also like the fact that I'm working towards a goal and not just working out for the sake of it.

Very informative, nice and well kmit draft.
I would like to add that it should be a gradual and continous process not all at a sudden and for specific peeiod of time.let us corelate it with "slow and steady wins the race".
We should not think exercise as an additional task in our life because in that way we will try to finish the task and get the results, which is not the case in reality.
Exercise has to be part and parcel of our life like food, sleep, job etc
It has to gradual because fruitful results are gradual not sudden, it has tonbe continous for the result to comtinue.
