The secret of mentally strong people

"I love when people that have been through hell walk out of the flames carrying buckets of water for those still consumed by the fire"

Building mental strength is not an easy thing to do.
However, it's the key in order to being fully satisfied with what life has to offer.

I was a target most of my life.
I always saw myself as a very fragile and sensitive human.
I always thought I could not overcome everything that would come my way.
But I always found the strength to do so.
No matter what you're going through, remember that you're always stronger than your struggles.

One of the first assets that mentally strong people put in practice is that they let go of things that are not in their control.
(Meditation is helping me with that one!)

Life is unpredictable.
Change will happen and it's essential to embrace it.
Yet the more I focused on the unchangeable, the harder my journey got.
And I'm starting to realize that as hard as it can be sometimes, I have to let go of things I have no control over.
I need to stop fearing the unknown, because it will happen anyway.
When you live in a world of fear, you give away your power.

Mentally strong people see everything that comes their way as an opportunity for growth and wisdom.

Every human has the power to create for himself a reality.
And for too long, my mind was filled with negativity, which only resulted in creating for myself a negative reality.

Mentally strong people don't feel like the universe owes them anything.

In the modern world, we live for instant gratification.
In this digital age, you can get too many things at the touch of a finger.
And that's a shame, because it takes time for real results to happen.
Patience is a virtue;)
In the end, it's not because you work hard and you do so many great things, that the universe will bring good back to you.
Practicing gratitude allows you to acknowledge all the good things you have in your life already, instead of putting the focus on what you think "you deserve" out of life.

Its a good post. But not like its a simple decision " Ok, from now on I am gonna be strong , not gonna care thing that is not in my control, be gratefull with what I have in my life instead of feeling sorry for what I think i deserve etc."

It is a process to go trough to have that kind of strenght. And it happens with practice, starting from small things and pass it on to bigger decisions.

I think it would be good for you to write about how to gain that mental strenght for people are with zero confidence at the very bottom down.

Thank you so much for your feedback!!🤩🌟
I truly appreciate it and agree with you.
You’re so right about practice.
The mind is like a muscle and it needs to be trained.
I’m on a journey to get there but I will for sure take your word into account:)
Have an amazing evening man!

It's quite unfortunate that people start realizing it only after they've experienced some downs. Either their own ones or their loved ones'. It feels like we have to learn from our own experience and start considering mental health a real thing only then. I'm wondering whether there is something that can really make the difference.

Blogs like yours where you openly share your experience combined with the stories about celebrities (the last one about Michael Phelps - did you read it?) could help, but it feels that it's not enough.

You’re so right.
Thanks for being here man.
How have you been?
I miss seeing you publish.
You’re such an inspiring human. 🌟💜

Oh, thank you 🤗 I'm fine, working also on some new things and therefore not having a lot of time for writing new things. But it will hopefully change soon. How have you been?

I'm happy to hear that.
I hope you find time to nourish your mind, body and soul my friend.
You deserve it:)
On my side, I'm not doing much at the moment.
I had to stop school and work because of my mental and physical health.
I'm doing group therapy and I'm on a waiting list to see a counselor.
Besides that, I meditate, read a lot everyday, and I started running again.
I pray everyday to get better.
Health is so precious.
Sending you love and great vibes -xxxx-

I hope that things will get better. But you are a strong woman and I'm sure that they will. Don't stop writing, it seems to me that it helps you quite a bit. And it can also help other people with similar issues or even prevent them. No matter how much upvotes, likes or comments do you get. Stay strong and don't put your happiness into anyone else's hands :)

Wow thank you so much for everything!
your words mean so much to me!
That last sentence really caught my attention, as it's been my main problem my whole life.
Working on it:) I believe there's no finish line to healing:)
xxxx

I can't agree with you, courage is not always something that roars, it is that small voice at the end of the day that says "I will try again tomorrow"

Well said!

What a nice smile in that photo. All the words of wisdom following it are icing on the cake!

One love for you! @onceuponatime
thanks alot;)

that is the name of destiny in life, why is it said that man is not perfect, because man is forgot in his deeds and god forgive his servant, we are born into the world without sin but after adulthood we sin is the so-called human nothing perfect, only god is perfect.

Nice post.

Thanks alot:)
nice philosophy!!

I admire the fact you are talking from experience which makes it valid inspiration for those out there. But on a second thought mental strength got limit with some people after a while of trying to make that change that the world they live around cant make and most times if they beat the world they join instead of excluding themselves and that's when mental strength counts. So not only until you realise what the world needs and you are ready to offer it to them by creating example and urging ppl to follow, not impacting life with your kind of person, its not worth it. There have to be a proof of a life you feel its the best..thanks for sharing. 🖒🖒🖒

Wow thank you so much your words mean a lot to me!!:)
