A new solar cell prototype developed by a team of scientists in Qingdao, China may change the way we use solar panels in the not so distant future.

I want to learn more about this for Oregon, where solar hours are limited but rain is abundant.

Might as well make it capable of generating by wind. Sun rain and wind. Those 3 things we face daily basis.

But it'll be illegal to use without paying some form of restitution to the government for not using city utilities. Just like they have banned off grid living in many places already, if you don't have city utility connections you can be fined, jailed and have your property taken in many places

My suggestion is that solar panels that produces energy from the sun should be placed in places where it is mostly sunny throughout the year and solar panels that produces energy from the rain be placed in places that rain most of the year, in this way, it'll be more efficient.
