Bass In This Place:

Me and our Steemit neighbor @steelparade will be performing happy island steel drum music on the 9th and 10th of February.

On the 9th we will do our monthly performance at Taco Surf near Seal Beach, California. It's fun, it's exciting, we get silly and people usually dance. Check my previous posts to see the fun from previous performances at Taco Surf.
On the 10th we will perform for a private party in the city of Cerritos, California.

Big Band Jazz:

On Monday the 12th 2018, my first big band rehearsal of 2018 starts. Me and our Steemit neighbor @steelparade will be reading down new charts/music we've probably never seen before. Big band is a really healthy environment for us to practice our musician skills. So far we have a big band concert scheduled for March 23rd.

Coffee and Kombucha:

Sometimes I get crafty. I brew a drink called Kombucha. I plan to share tips and instruction on how to make it, how to refine/flavor it, how to store it and what it actually is. Good DIY thing.

I'm going to switch my GIF making app. It's becoming too much work because they made some bad changes to the app GIF Maker. When I switch I will return to being That Guy Who Makes Gif-Like Videos and That Guy Who Shares Images of Upside Down Steel Drums.

A musical persona. Sometimes an overall artistic persona that is easy to confuse with other stuff I do. Search #tetrahedroseph on you favorite social media platform to see other neat stuff.

- uses tenor steel drums and unique bass steel drums that look much different than the traditional 6 bass pans.

- uses real ukulele, guitar, and bass.

- sings and never uses auto tuning. Lots of editing, but no auto tuning or melodyne. Can't you tell.

Other:

I'm doing almost all of this with an iPhone 7.

I talk about the band #steelparade a lot because I play bass and sing full time with them. We are a humble band performing and servicing parties and people full-time. It is my day job. My comments and opinions here are my own.

Almost all of this is kinda like a grand scheme to simply have a destination for my various "art forms". I don't want to stop. It's therapeutic and I highly recommend it.
