I was thrilled when I got to design an automatic chicken door for our chicken fortress. A long time fan of The goonies, Chitty chitty bang bang, and Rube Goldberg... I decided to make a Rube Goldberg Steempunk Automatic Chicken Door. It uses the weight of a bucket filing with water, from a solar powered timer, going through three pullies, and pulls shut the drawbridge door.
