Steemit Quest: Day 3. "FATALITY!"

In an effort to be more efficient I am going to try and shorten the response time. Teams will have 48 hours to decide or I will flip a coin. I understand that communication can be difficult especially since some members are in different countries.

TEAMS have started to find out about the perils in the land. We had our first death! Was it from a mermaid, a giant or from that sleepy Drake? Let's find out what's going on.

was the first team to come across the Inn.
Instead of chasing the orcs that kidnapped their client. They decided to check the rubble for any valuables.
After spending a hour sifting through ash rocks. All seemed lost. Until @vcelier found a Dwarven chest!
The lock had melted enough for the team to pry it open. Inside a crossbow, bolts and a picture of a female dwarf can be found.

Option 1: Go down the path of the butchered sheep they found.
Option 2: Cut through the woods to catch up and use their new crossbow to engage the orcs.

believes they have found a mermaid in the healing spring. After careful consideration they decided to call her for her blessing.
The thing rises to the surface, pointed teeth with the face of an angel.
Her hair brushs to her shoulders. Vain creatures as she is she bathes in the attention. Her voice is as soothing as a lullaby as she tells you her name. She tells you to go forth on your quest and merely whisper her true name into any river that connect from this part of the land. She'll come for aid or to seek vengence.
She gives a sigh of relief as she descends. Atleast you didn't try to catch me. I would have eaten that one. Her scaly finger points daintly at @cosmo.crator

You spot a deer frolicking past you. Your mouths start to water. The beast's meat could be traded or cooked as a meal.
Option 1: Kill the deer
Option 2: ignore the deer and head toward the Inn via walking along the creek that flows from the spring

watch as the other team leaves the spring and the mermaid living in it.

They decide among themselves what to do.
Option 1: See if the mermaid will give another blessing
Option 2: Ambush the other group.

As they approach the giant he throws the wheel, nearly as big as him. It skips across the road smashing into your group. Ackza receives six damage and is wounded. Aggroed receives 4 damage. M-weed recieves 2 damage and is wounded. Grognak recieves 4 damage and is wounded.
He comes over and draws an axe the size of a small cow. Come at me robbers he shouts!
Option one: Try to reason with him as you dodge his weapon.
Option 2: Fight for your lives.

As they wait they watch orcs investigate the trap they sprung. One of the orcs has a large bone whistle. He could summon more but they are posted up. There is no way to pass without going through them.

Option 1: Wait until the trap is set and try to spring it when they are in it.
Opgion 2: Ambush them while they're occupied with resetting it.

Circling the camp allows the team to spot more traps but as they circle a pair of Orcs approaching from the wood spots them swords clash. Nathanjones receives one damaged and is wounded. Jeremy receives 2 damaged and is wounded. Avarice is not injured at all as the trio slays Orcs the fracus alerts the other Orcs who give chase.

Option one: Make a stand and hope you can survive and gather healing items they may have.

Option 2: Flee to the road.

and the hunters.

Gouging the eyes of the Drake saved the arm of @len.george. As the beast staggers back the hunters charge in and attack the beast. It lashes out like the wounded animal it is. It kills trev. And wounds @len.george. @eirik suffers 4 damage (2 prevented by Armour) . @erikaflynn is wounded and @unusualconcept receives 4 damage (2 prevented from the Armour).
The teams finally killed the beast. Swords still drawn teams have the same option.
Fight or band together as one unit. With the possibility of reviving the dead teammate later down the road.
Option one:Fight to the death
Option two:band together.

Talk amongst yourselves.

If any of your team mates die stay tuned for ways to revive them.
