Vision Board

in life •  7 years ago

The year is still relatively fresh. There's power in writing down your goals and seeing them on a daily basis. It affirms and acts as a constant reminder that you need to get things done even when you're slacking off. I adopted this behavior late last year and believe you me in four months I had done most of the things I had intended to do in a shorter time span as compared to what I had accomplished very early on in the other months.

Having a vision board outlines your execution plan. I like to break them down into short term and long term. That way, everything is linked to the overall objective. Then on a daily basis, make sure you actually do about 70% of what is listed on the short term targets. You really have to be honest and intentional with yourself. Mine is stuck up on my wall, so everyday when I wake up and go to bed, I have a look at it. Every month, I tick and cross what has already been accomplished and that gives me some level of pride.

I take the challenge too

all the best.

I will take up the challenge, 2018 is the year of great things and i don't want to miss out, my vision board is up and running, i have sticky notes all over my wall, with every thought, plan no matter how absurd with implementation points and check points to see if they are viable and to track my progress also, want to put them in a planning app for easier tracking and reminders.

great @cmbugua. wishing you nothing but the best.

Challenge accepted! 2018 is a year of great things and a vision is all we need.
Thanks

You said it better than anybody else would have :-)
