I keep wondering if our house is haunted. We recently learned that the original owners were Dutch, the husband was a sea captain, and they built this house to be used as their vacation home. Back when they built it, there was no water view. There actually were no other houses. The only thing out here was a plant nursery across the street, which is now our neighbors 100 year old log cabin. The area was covered in huge trees.
For some reason though, the original owners sold the house just 10 years after owning it. I think we are the 5th owners. Makes me wonder if anyone died in this house. Creepy! I'll update the blog if I see any ghosts. eeek!
Anyway, we have tons of weird old lights in our house. Here are just some of them:
