So I know I usually post about Tech, this is a ''stretch'' and I use the word tech very loosely. Sex toys have been around since the early Egyptians but were very 'taboo' until the 60's and 70's when companies couldn't make enough as there was and still is a very high demand for sex toys. Particularly women who need to be satisfied. But on occasion, it is inevitable that some will get banned. So here is a list of banned sex toys and accessories.

1 – now most of us in England, when we think of Wales, we think of dirty, lonely farmers and too many sheep, but a seaside resort in Temby,Wales, banned the use of all sex toys and blow up dolls.
The problem behind this ban was that in 2016, Temby had over 60'000 visitors, many of whom were party goers and hen night parties.
Temby is known to be a Family orientated resort. While hen nights are a good laugh for women before a marriage. They tend to go over the top bringing out vibrators, butt plugs and blow up dolls as they go from club to club, many of which get discarded and left on the streets. You can imagine how parents felt as their children would ask them... ' why is that dog chew toy vibrating across our path?''
in an effort to stop this, the use and sale of sex toys and accessories was banned. Anyone caught in the street with any sex aids receive a 'large' on the spot fine.

2 – The United Arab Emirates is one of the worlds fastest growing countries. Beautiful beach side resorts, iconic skyscrapers and beaches in the shape of palm trees. Be wary though if you travel to the UAE and if you like to have a little night time satisfaction and take your favourite 8 inch buddy along. You may find yourself in prison for bringing in a prohibited pornographic sex aid. Yup. You will not find any sex shops on the UAE at all. There is a permanent full ban on all sex aids and pornography. So either women are very satisfied or the men get jealous.

3 – For Americans. You don't have to travel far to come across a ban on sex toys. In 1998 Alabama state passed the 'anti obscenity enforcement act'. The sale of sex toys or anything can can be used to 'stimulate' (hehe) human genitals is a criminal offence. You can however bring your own sex toys into the state and use in private. But if you get caught using it. Its a trip to the sheriffs office and a court appearance for you.

4 – What would you say if your vibrating best friend was put in the same criminal category as firearms, drugs and explosives? WTF right? The Maldives is one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the world that attract over a million people each year. But if you get caught with anything remotely resembling a clit tickler, you could receive a 6 month prison sentence. And if you bring one into the county. More than likely you will be refused entrance and sent back on the first plane home. The ban on anything resembling pornographic is down to religion as the Maldives is an Islamic country.

5 – If you don't know what a butt plug is, you are too young to be reading this and need to watch more porn. But in 2008, sandy springs in Georgia USA, the sex shops started to display large but plugs in their windows as there was no classification for them. So in 2009 the city passed a bill forbidding the distribution of any and all sex aids. Effectively closing down the sex shops. Even if you live there, if you are caught buying sex aids online, you will end up with time in prison.
Yet Georgia allows its people to carry guns in schools, bars and church. But 12 inch butt plug will bring the town to its knees.

It seems to me that some of these laws only exists for 1 or 2 reasons. Men are very jealous of woman using toys bigger than themselves. And 2, god botherers think its a tool from Satan.
Better to be stress free than be up tight with a loaded gun ready to pop at any time... (hint hint) hahaha.

Thanks for reading.

I always find it fascinating to see what countries ban sex toys. Considering I always tend to travel with my goodies, I have to make sure I check the rules of the countries I travel to next time.
