Modify Monday | Shopping, Found Money, & Gunshots?

Finally some grocery shopping! The store near the new apartment had a lot of these fun large sized piñatas for sale. They’re as big as children! Got a lot of veggies, a hot rotisserie chicken, and some ruffles and cottage cheese to splurge (I was starving and needed something substantial to put in my stomach).

Still getting used to the new place and still need to unpack a few things but everything is good for now. Late last night I heard four gunshots ring out periodically over the course of about ten minutes, with a fifth one heard randomly about an hour or two previously. Not sure what those were about but tonight has been relatively quiet. Just the wind rustling the sycamore trees outside, but I think that’s just a storm blowing in.

It rained this morning, and it tried to rain a little more throughout the day but it wasn’t anything serious. They say it’s supposed to rain somemore tonight and maybe even thunder, but so far it’s just wind...

So oddly enough, I found seven dollars cash today in a park bathroom. It really does seem lately that cash is just fighting to get into my hands! I’m not complaining, it’s just really crazy to me! I almost never find money, so finding seven dollars today was a pretty big find!
