LET’S TALK

I joined Steemit exactly a month ago today. Steemit has welcomed me with open arms, and I’ve finally been able to start to gain a tiny amount of traction. I knew that Steemit would take some time and dedication to become successful. I now know more specifically what this entails. I am by no means and expert, but I certainly developed an appreciation for those who’ve done well here.

Tonight I wanted to bring something up that I have been thinking a lot about over the last week or so. You could even say that I’m struggling with it.

WHO AM I

Years later, I started performing on stage at various concert venues

I have started to understand that those who are successful here do so my creating a brand. They become known for something in particular that they excel at. This could be technical analysis of crypto charts like @haejin or exquisite writting like @michelle.gent (by the way- if you haven’t heard of her, you should definitely check out her work).

The point I’m making is that I not sure I fit into one single category. I am a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades...

I’m not sure that any of you here on Steemit know me personally. If you have read some of my blog posts, you would have learned a tiny bit about my life but surely there’s more to know. We have plenty of time to get acquainted but I wanted to have a chance to communicate something with you.

I am not one thing. I am not two things- but let me tell you about what I am..

I AM PASSIONATE

I am person behind these words. I am sitting here right now, taking the time to write this because I have a passion. If you met me, you would meet someone who listens when you speak. I care about what you are saying to me and pay attention. This is a quality that I have brought with me to Steemit. If you are reading this, you are reading the blog of a person who genuinely cares about you and your feedback.

When I am not making posts, I am taking the time to read the posts of my peers and giving thoughtful, though provoking feedback. I intend to give back what the community has given to me and I will continue to do this thoughtout my Steemit journey.

So I’m digressing a bit...Well, I suppose a blog is a digression of sorts.

Anyways..

I am having a hard time being a particular thing here on Steemit. I’m telling you this because I want those who are following me to understand who and what I intend to be here on Steemit.

I am a person with lots of interests. Yes, this is fairly common, but I have spent a lot of time studying and learning a wide variety of topics. I intend to provide the Steemit community with a little bit of everything..At least at the moment.

SInce I’ve just recently arrived on Steemit, I want to diversify my posts. I love nursing, cooking, gardening/horticulture, quantum physics, music composition/song writing, reading, singing, fishing, golfing, technology, crypto trading/analytics, home brewing, - this lists goes on and on but there is a bigger point I’m trying to make here.

I take my gardening very seriously haha

I hope that when you choose to follow me, you do so because of who I am. You follow me because you can rely on me to listen to your feedback and read you comments. I have a lot useful information to provide to the Steemit community but more importantly, I am a person who cares about my readers.

I have posted a bit of a variety in the last 30 days. I hope you can respect that I’m still finding my niche..

Maybe eventually I will fit into some kind of mold. Maybe there’s a void here that I’m intended to fill....

Or maybe I’m meant to express myself- and maybe that is enough...

LET ME MAKE A PROMISE TO YOU

First off, I am not going anywhere. I have arrived here on Steemit and I’m here to stay.

Secondly, I will continue to post content every day (or every other day!) that I am passionate about..

Third, I promise that I will listen to the feedback of my peers and do my best to respond to each of you in a timely manner.

With that being said, Let me know what you’d like to see. Is there something that you’ve been expecting me to do that I haven’t done? I would have to hear your feedback..
