Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement 10-9-2019

in life •  5 years ago  (edited)

This evening at sundown we begin our celebration of the Day of Atonement. It’s a day set apart from any other to draw our attention away from ourselves and onto the One who saves us from death because of our disobedience to the One who created us. It’s a day to remember that He alone can cover those sins. Through the blood of our Messiah Yeshua/Jesus covering our sins, we can return to a relationship with our Heavenly Father. He gave us this Way back to Him.
Deny yourself, confess your disobedience to our Heavenly Father, repent (turn away from) of your sin, choose His Way, and He will forgive you and give you Life. His Way is Life! Choose Life!
Enjoy this High Sabbath. Do no work. Give your Creator your attention.
Happy Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur)
