DTube DAILY #36 - The INTERNET Made This Possible!

in life •  7 years ago

We've finally arrived to the Subic project and ready to begin work on the local school!

The materials have arrived, the local labour has been hired and already work has begun to refurbish the school and build a new dormitory for the kids here.

Some of the children will walk up to 14 hours just to get an education here and would then sleep on the floor for the duration of their stay. This dormitory will enable them to have a better learning environment and lives in general.

The only way this has been made possible has been by online donations from people across the world. This little school - that doesn't even have an internet connection - will benefit from the kindness of 100s of complete strangers from across the world.

Thank you again to everyone who supported this - the $350 will be in addition to this bigger project and I'll show you exactly how it's used.

Thanks for watching,
Jord

Thank you @thelifeofjord for doing this awesome work.

I am always excited when I see these types of project. It shows that we still have several generous hearts in the world.

I will like to learn how you pulled this through, because I am always working in a grassroot community in Nigeria and I will really like to help a lot of kids out to get better Education and become all that they desire to become.

This is project is awesome! Helping kids to have better access to education and better lives is so noble and really heartwarming. I hope you guys continue to do projects like this in the future.

Wow I can't believe some of the kids have to walk for up to 14 hours! That's crazy!

Big respect! Keep good work.

That's insane man. So cool to see where the money is going and exactly how it's being used. Excited to see more! Great job!
