Everyone Loves Puppies! - Cute Dog Picture Series #1

Who doesn't like dogs?!?!?!? I sure do! Here I present for you viewing pleasure, the first installment in my series of cute dog and puppy pictures! I'm going to start the series with my two girls Nea & Lilly, who are 2 of the cutest dogs ever!!!!

Here we have Lilly in the front, who is a 1 year old Boxer / Terrier mix who was originally from Puerto Rico. She was rescued as a small puppy and brought up to New Jersey, USA where we were fortunate enough to have found her about 9 months ago. Behind Lilly, we have Nea, who is also a rescue, but from a shelter in Pennsylvania this time. Nea is a 5 year old Chihuahua / Yorkie mix who we have had for about 4 years now. Between the 2 dogs and my wife, I'm severely outnumbered by women in my household ;)

Lilly was extremely scared and very shy when we first got her, and she would not leave the safety of the couch in our living room for almost 2 full weeks! She would just sit there looking sad and quite pitiful, and whenever you would go to try to pet her, she would pull back with her head tucked in & her ears flat, looking downward as to not make eye contact out of fear :(

Thankfully, Lilly gradually got better and overcame most of her fears after a few weeks of gently coaxing her to go on walks and interacting with other people & dogs!

Now Lilly is very social and playful, just like a puppy should be! She & Nea are best friends who constantly play together!
