One Meal a Day - Charity action

I don't know if this will fall inline with the theme of this initiative. But I have a neighbor, not like we live in the same compound, but I am closed enough to know what kinda challenge she's faced with. She gave birth to a baby girl since last year and lost her job because she spent more than 3 months at home after birth -this is because of a rare kind of malaria attacked on her daughter, and she could not resist the urge to take care of her only child after a long time of infertility. Going back to work was not an option, faced with probability of losing her baby.

She lost means to basic income, since about a week now, she's been cooking with wood. Doing what she's not used to because of recent fuel scarcity that rocked the country, which has increased price of kerosene, she is now having problem with one eye due to exposure to smoke.

She need to eat, her problem right now is not lack of food parse, but having better means to prepare it.

With $35, I could buy 6kg gas cooker (stove) for her, filled with gas that would last for 3 months. Because, obviously, she cooks twice a day, morning and night.

If her vision or her health is in jeopardy, the poor baby will suffer because her husband is not responsible enough.
