Every day you take off
Your enemy puts in work
The gap is widening
Don't be surprised when you're overthrown
You know what’s better than waking up at 7 because you need to?
Waking up at 4:30 because you Chose to
We can’t control time
But we can Manage our own
Are you incapable of complex thought
Or are you afraid of the realization it might bring?
I know the answer, I just want you to hear the question.
The problem:
Your fear of hard work
Outweighs your passion for success
Comfort: The Silent Killer
Your body will live
But your passion dies
What's life without passion?
No topic of discussion is off limits
Ignoring something doesn't make it any better
Be that annoying friend
That’s always reminding others when they’re drifting off track
The Respect of Others will come
When you learn to Respect Yourself
Pain
After feeling Pain, you either:
Learn how to avoid it in the Future
Or you learn how to push through it
If you avoid it, do so through intelligence, not fear
If you push through it, do so to grow stronger, not out of ignorance
Pain should be an investment
How many pay checks will it take
Before you realize nobody is going to save your money for you?
Don’t act surprised when you’re 70 and still trying to make ends meet
Your favorite Steemit gurus have it all wrong.
There is no key to success.
But there are many doors to success.
Trial and Error until you find the door that suits you.
Labels
The good:
People find a social group
People feel accepted
People are motivated
The bad:
People Discriminate
People belittle
People become arrogant
I don’t care what group you identify with
But do it for progress
Not to create an ”Us vs. Them” mentality
Imagine:
What could happen
If you decided you wanted to do something
And you actually did it this time 🤔
As children, we were told to "put on our thinking caps"
My Assumption:
Some of you grew out of Yours
What You Know:
If you put $100 in a savings account
And it isn't earning interest
It's essentially decreasing in value due to inflation
What You Need to Learn:
If you reach a point in life
And You stop progressing
You're essentially getting worse due to progress of others
Competing with others:
You’re limited by their achievements
Competing with Yourself:
You’re limited by your imagination
Sometimes others achievements stimulate our imagination
Sometimes our imaginations stimulate others achievements
Find a balance of the two
I believe most people know when they are making dumb decisions in life
I just don’t understand why they act surprised by the aftermath
People aren't nearly as interested in who you used to be
As they are with who you are now
Be proud of your past, but don't let it cloud your future
I keep the same routine every morning
First: I say how thankful I am for being given another day to live
Next: I prove it by developing myself the rest of the day
This formula works well
I will forever say this phrase.
It not only needs to be heard.
It needs to be lived on a daily basis.
AVERAGE IS THE ENEMY!
Spread the word!
Practical experiment on mindset
A farmer tied a donkey to his small chair & left it there.
Although the donkey had the ability to move it...
No it wouldn't, alas it was at that spot all day
Like humans, we're only limited by our mind
@hustlehacker
Place your focus on nouns, and you'll Never be satisfied
Once you get it, you'll either:
Lose your Purpose
or
Want More
Focus on the Verbs
The intangible provides far more purpose
You'll be happier
Recognize that nobody does something out of the kindness of their heart
There's always a motive for them, whether physical, spiritual, or emotional
That's ok though, it's human nature
There are holes in your armor
Find them before someone else does
The more you try to conform to a specific social group
The less unique you become
Always trying to fit in deprives the world of who you actually are
Lies you’ve been trained to believe:
You Need a T.V.
You Need a couch
You Need a huge bed
You Need a fancy entertainment system
You Need a fancy car
You’re filling the empty spaces of your home
But you’re really trying to fill that empty space in Yourself
Before you start complaining about what others aren't doing for you
Evaluate what you are doing for yourself
You are your own responsibility
Anything else is extra
Consume more calories than you Burn
You become overweight/obese
Consume more money than you Earn
You become Poor
Consume more Netflix than you Learn
You become uneducated
Burn
Earn
Learn
Create the life you desire
Passive income is nice
But Never trust a man that's afraid of manual labor
Ask a Doctor what the leading cause of death is in the U.S.
They'll say Heart Disease
In Reality
It's a Lack of Discipline
Life gets difficult.
Person A: 'Oh no! Why me?'
Person B: 'Oh yea? Try me!'
"If Everybody's Crazy, You're the one that's insane" - Jay-Z
For his entire life
Every word that a human has spoken
Every conversation he has ever had
Every conflict he has ever been a part of
Has been with his own Mind.
Money:
If you keep collecting it in an account
But never check on it
You’ll never be able to invest it
Knowledge:
If you keep collecting it
But never reflect on what you’ve learned
You’ll never know how to apply it
Conclusion:
Once you have it
What will you do with it?
Knowing When to Stop
Is not the same as Quitting
Know the Difference
Don't confuse the two
In one case
You recognize that proceeding in a direction is no longer beneficial
Therefore, it's time to redirect that energy
In the other case
You have decided it's too difficult to continue in a direction
And cease that potential energy alltogether
You've wasted good energy
