Giving birth while delivering someone else's child, certainly a headline you don't see every day. An OB-GYN resident doctor at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics went into labour as she was delivering her patient's baby. The doctor, Emily Jacobs noticed amniotic fluid as her patient was delivering and later realised it was, in fact, her own!

Apparently, the expecting doctor was not due for another month and had been putting in 80-hour a week shifts at the hospital. This story shows the sheer dedication that some people have towards their profession. I thought that I'd share this with the Steemit community because I'd love to hear your comments on the matter.
