Gardening progress

in life •  7 years ago

So...I’ve been really diligent with this vegetable garden. I know it’s only been a little over a week...but, I’m very proud to announce that I haven’t missed a single day of watering! I’ve also taken some time out to gently stroke the leaves and sing to my plants! ( I promise I’m not crazy!)
Anyway...when I checked out the plants this morning, I was excited to see PROGRESS!!!

The green beans that’s my two year old “planted” (he actually just dumped the bags of seeds in and then dug around) has sprouted!

I know it’s very menial progress...but the fact that he is the one who planted it...makes me extra excited!
I hope the kids will take pride in their work. If they can enjoy food that they’ve grown themselves, perhaps they’ll get the passion that I have! Maybe...by sheer luck...one of them will actually have a green thumb!

If you followed her and put in prospective it may make more sense. This is a follow-up/update/status to previous post. I’ll upvote your comment despite your apparent disappointment. I’m also going to take the time to see what content you are providing. Take care.

Your enthusiasm is contagious! I'm sure that if you keep it up, your kids will catch it from you. 😊 I bet your two year old will be thrilled to see his plants starting to grow. I still remember as a preschooler planting sunflowers with my parents and being so excited when they grew taller than me!!!

I love gardens, upvoted!

So the kids gardening day has not gone to waste and finally they got the productive result. good luck
