Not very many people know the difference between argument and conversation and they therefore end up in needlessly tricky situations in their lives when it comes to interacting with people around them.

You see people, argument is something you do to determine WHO or WHICH ONE of the parties/people involved in it are right. The object matters in an argument. Object means people who are partaking in the argument. What they are arguing about doesn't matter. Ultimately what matters is who is right and who is wrong and an argument is done specifically for that.

Conversation, on the other hand, is something we take part in to determine WHAT is right. In a conversation the subject is what matters and not who does the conversation. Subject means things that are being talked about. Because in a conversation ego is not involved and only the idea or the subject matter gets the attention, conversation is mostly a positive thing. In a conversation people undertaking it separate themselves from the subject matter therefore the subject clearly gets all the attention.
