My Deportation Story from Israel

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Today I am going to write my story and it isn’t going to be easy because living through it once was hard enough. My trip to Israel was literally a living HELL! I went to Israel thinking oh I am going to have an enjoyable time in Israel and celebrate Passover and see all the sites there. I was totally wrong! I went there and once I got to the airport in Ben Gurion Airport, I was taken on a shuttle to where I was supposed to be and shoved on a seat and I was going to wait for a wheelchair. My fiancé tried to stop quite a few of them and when we finally got someone to stop, they dragged me and my hubby to the immigration counter instead of getting a wheelchair and waiting in line. When we got to the station they asked how long we was staying, what's the purpose of your visit, and what was our hotel reservations. We replied 3 months because I was disabled and I would need to rest a lot and wouldn't be able to see them all in one month and this was the trip we’d planned for a lifetime! We got a place to stay and the fact that our purpose was to simply be tourists.

We were taken to the Immigration supervisor and my fiancé went in to go talk first while I waited out in the little waiting room area. When they asked for me to go in, they asked me the same questions they asked at the counter. What is your purpose for visiting? Where are you staying at? How long are you planning on staying? I told the man that I am a Christian visiting with my fiancé and I wanted to see all the biblical sites that are in the bible. I told him we were staying with friends and that we wanted to stay for about 3 months. They asked for my fiancé to come back in and tried to get us to sign a denial of entry letter.

Our next problem was we was dragged all around the airport like slaves on leashes. Me I was struggling because I was thirsty. I kept asking for water and they kept dragging us around like dogs on a leash. They simply did not care what happened to us. Me I can’t walk very far because of my ankles and back. All they did was give me a suitcase cart to hold onto and I nearly passed out due to my sugar being low. I was on the edge of passing out from both hunger and thirst. While my fiancé was trying to get someone getting food or water they yelled at him to “Shut the fuck up”! I quoted that because that's what they said. They would not let me rest. They would not let us talk to the head supervisor, and they would not allow us to make a phone call to our friends or to the embassy to get our situation taken care of. After that they sent me to turkey, while I was in turkey we didn’t get food till the next day… I had to go to the bathroom upon arrival and they locked me in the bathroom while I was in a wheelchair they brought to me. That was very uncomfortable.

Sincerely,
Victoria Harr

It's an odd mix of feelings for me. Loving a place so much and being so frustrated by it at the same time. I still miss it.

Yeah, I know the feeling!

What an ordeal!

Indeed

God will repay those who mistreated you, sis. Hang in there.

It seems that Israel doesn't desire to serve justice if it isn't beneficial to them!

Israel's treatment was terrible.

I am Victoria Harr's husband (obviously :P ) and I can tell you that it was a living nightmare.... I thought everything was fine and then the immigration officer put a stamp on our passport denying us entry.. I was shocked and appauled. They wouldn't even let us call the our Brothers that we were going to be staying with... they treated us like criminals even though we did nothing wrong. GOD WILL JUDGE THEM! They will be found wanting... because they are an evil generation.... God's promise to them will fall upon their Purest offspring instead of them. They have been told to repent time and time and time again.

Horrible experience.... I had wanted to see all the sites in Israel. Instead we got shafted. I feel nothing but pity for them.
