My bad iPhone 8 experience..

Hey Steemians,

Just want to share with you my current iPhone 8 deteriorating experience..

Just a few days ago Friday arvo my phone started doing some unresponsive things when I clicked the home button.. so I decided to reboot the phone..
Then I wasn’t able to use my phone for a few hours!
During that time I tried to update my phone as per google instructions..
It worked the second time however my phone was still infinitely looping the Apple screen.
So I was not able to get into my phone at all.
I googled madly the next while and when I tried one of the solutions it came back to life!
Basically that one said I should charge my phone in case the battery is dying.
My phone actually has 60% so was nowhere dying but for some reason plugging the cable in made it come back!
I was so happy!
The only thing at fault was the home button not clicking anymore and things were getting delayed as a result.

I was happy to use my phone on the weekend and managed to record some photos and videos however I noticed a second delay.. when I turned on my camera it would take at least 5 seconds to turn on.
Later that day Sunday - I decided to watch the videos when a weird static sound was heard..
Some videos worked and others didn’t.
Then I tried some online videos and some worked..
I watched some drama on Netflix and that had a few problems but I managed to watch maybe half an hour.
A few hours later I could not watch anything on my phone or online.
Plus I realised that I couldn’t even hear the receiver when I called someone 😱
I tried to do everything and then my camera died- didn’t turn on. Was just black.
Still, I managed to find a way to take some low res photos and that was to turn on Instagram or Snapchat to take a photo.
I reckon it’s to do with the sound.
I have a Japanese import phone so the shutter never turns off on the camera - so that means it depends on the sound to work..

Anyhow I have booked a Genius Bar appointment at Apple store tomorrow.
I may have to either take it to repair or replace it completely.

It’s totally broken.

I’ve never had so many problems with an iPhone before.

I’m glad I can still text and type using it right now.

Who knows if I can’t use it later 😨

Meanwhile I’m also dealing with a big allergic inflammation rash on my belly. Haven’t had much sleep the last few days cos it’s super itchy! I’m talking some strong steroids as recommended by my dr yesterday.
Hope it subsides soon!
She says it could be stress related.
I have been quite run down lately.
